BILATERAL RELATIONS WITH THE UNITED STATES

The Minister has seen the PUS's minute of 26 January to

Mr Goodlad the Private Secretary (not to all, or necessary). is in principle interested in exchanging views on his geographical responsibilities with a US opposite number, if and when one can be identified. He appreciates that this will have to be after the dust in Washington has settled and also that a variety of other UK visitors will take priority.
