Please refer to Mr Pattison's teleletter of 18 February to Peter Ricketts (copied to you) on China/MFN.

We are thinking over the suggestion in the last paragraph of this teleletter - about briefings for Parliamentary Delegations visiting Washington. It occurs to us that we you should underline the importance of the MFN issue to MPs visting Hong Kong. Could you let me know what you think and whether there is any mechanism at present to include such a briefing in programmes for visiting Parliamentarians?

Yours ever.
