GOVERNOR OF HONG KONG'S VISIT TO LONDON: 8-10 NOVEMBER
1.
The Governor of Hong Kong is visiting London between 8 and
10 November. He has requested calls on senior officials, Mr Goodlad and the Secretary of State before the OPD (K) at 1130
on 10 November. I have pencilled in the following diary slots:
Tuesday 9 November, 1500-1545, meeting with
senior officials (Sir J Coles, Mr Hum and Mr
Ricketts) in Sir J Coles' office
Wednesday 10 November, 1030-1100, call on Mr
Goodlad.

2. The Secretary of State will also wish to see the Governor
before the OPD (K). I understand there is a half hour diary
slot free at 1100 on Wednesday 10 November. The Secretary of
State's offer of dinner to the Governor on 10 November has
been passed on to Hong Kong.
