Action Taken

The Secretary of State is happy to see the Governor during his visit to London at the end of the month. An hour slot is available at 0930 on 29 July. We would propose that the meeting take the form of a half hour tete a tete followed by a broader half hour discussion to include Sir John Coles, Christopher Hum and myself. Grateful to know if this arrangement meets with the Governor's approval.

2. A call on Mr Goodlad will not be possible as the Minister will be travelling on the dates of the Governor's visit. If the Governor would like it Sir J Coles has offered a separate meeting Later on the morning of 29 July (at any time to suit before 1200) which other officials could attend.
