GOVERNOR OF HONG KONG'S VISIT TO LONDON: 29-30 JULY

1. We spoke earlier. The Governor of Hong Kong is visiting London on 29-30 July. He has appointments to see the Secretary of State and officials on 29 July. The Governor will be travelling in a Mercedes Benz, registration number K416 FYE, and will be using the Ambassadors' entrance.

2. Mr Patten will be accompanied by Mr Martin Dinham. I would be grateful if you could arrange for a visitor's pass for Mr Dinham to be at the Ambassadors' entrance by 0900 on 29 July. Mr Morris (HKD) will collect Mr Dinham's pass before greeting the Governor.
