I understand that Chris Patten is expected in London in the week before Easter. As the House will not be sitting then, it will of course not be practicable for him to meet the Hong Kong Group.
I thought I would mention that I shall be around that week and, if there were an opportunity to meet the Governor, I would obviously value it. I am away with a Select Committee during the last fortnight in March but my secretary will be contactable.
