Thank you very much for your would be pleased to meet Mr Zhang, but the problem is to find an opportunity, for as you can imagine the delegation's programme for its short visit to Hong Kong is already rather full. However, two opportunities suggest themselves, both on Thursday 12th August. have arranged informally through Mr David Tang, owner of the China Club, for the delegation to breakfast with a number of the Hong Kong based members of the Preliminary Working Committee at the China Club; and on the same day Mr Tang is giving the delegation lunch there. Perhaps Mr Zhang would like me to ask Mr Tang to include him as a guest at one or other of these two functions.
The delegation leaves London for Hong Kong on Sunday 8th August. While in Hong Kong Members will be staying at the Furama Hotel and any reply should be addressed to me there.
