1. Unfortunately the Privy Council did not make the instruments to amend the Letters Patent and Royal Instructions at their meeting on 31 March.

2. The next scheduled Privy Council meeting will be on 12 May, and we have been told that the draft instruments should definitely be made at that meeting. This should still ensure that the draft Letters Patent and Royal Instructions are amended well before the third reading of the Electoral Bill.
