Amendments to the Royal Instructions

XIIA (1)

(i) Delete the word

"Elected" from all

references to "Elected

Members".

(i) All members of

the LegCo will be

elected, references

to "members" would

be adequate.

(ii) Replace "a law" by

"the laws".

(ii) There are in

fact more than one

law governing the

election to the

Legislative

Council.

(iii) Replace 1(b) by

"within three months

after any subsequent

dissolution of the

Council; but, subject to

the foregoing, the

election may be held on

more than one day."

(iii) To provide

that an election to

the LegCo can be

held on more than

one day.
