On 30th November 1973, a further latter dated 22th November 1973 was received by the Commissioner of Folice frem Hr. win expressing his general dissatisfaction with the Police Force and his lack of prospects, and stating that he wished to leave the force to accept alternative employ- ment. He resubmitted his resignation and enclosed a further cheque for a sonth's salary.

lir. an has not reported for duty since 23th February 1974, the day on which his vacation leave expired. His present whereabouts are not known but there is a record of his deporting for Taixan and Tokyo la Cctober 1973. Kr. lan's brother said that fan's family had left for Taiwan.
