Item 23: Centralization of Visa Regime

It is desirable that the Hong Kong visa regime be centralised. Consideration is being given to transferring 2018 Kung Visa work now carried out by British posts to mong xong. Procedures have to be devised for the referral

of visa applications received overseas to be channelled to

the appropriate Hong Kong authorities during the

Cransitional period and in the future.

official or semi-official missions may be established in

the HKSAR with the approval of the CPG. Consular and other official missions established in Hong Kong by states which: have established formal diplomatic relations with the PRC
