The
electorate of these four proposed FCs can be
classified into two groups:
(i)
(ii)
unionized employees (and also qualified
associate professionals in the case of
the Lands, Works, Housing & Construction
FC) working in the relevant sectors; and
members of trade associations in the
& fishing field (who are a
agriculture
mixture of
employers, employees, and the
self-employed).
None of these
potential
electors are at present
covered by any other FCs, proposed or existing.
[AS a possible follow-up to Q1:1 The British side talk
about
giving voting right to employees in the various
sectors. But what about the employers?
Employers will be represented in either existing
or other proposed FCs. Thus:
