As anticipated in TUR, Mr Fung has returned to the charge. He will now be coming to London on 17 May and, on the Governor's recommendation, will be seeing the Secretary of State as well as Mr Goodlad on 18 May.

2.

If you should pick up anything of interest about the ADPL's meeting with Lu Ping and others in Peking this week it would be useful to know. Please could you also tell us if there are any particular points you would like the Secretary of State to put to Mr Fung when he sees him.
