explaining their proposal for the 95' EC to be composed of 600 members, the Chinese made the point that the nature and functions of the 95' EC are different from those of the future committees. At some stage in the talks we may need to explain what exactly do we mean by using the 1995 EC as a model for the subsequent committees.

and
some
in what
of the

EC
