Each candidate will be given a full set of registered voters with residential addresses
indicated.

The Chinese have strongly criticized our proposals the grounds that FCs should only represent the interests professional/economic
groups based on territory-wide organizations and that the 9 proposed new FCS are an attempt to introduce 9 more directly elected seats through the backdoor.

Public views on the new FCs are rather divided. The latest opinion poll published by the SCMP on 22 November showed that 57% of the respondents supported our proposal with less than 17% against. Those who take the opposite view consider that our proposals have deviated from the original concept of FCs.
