Procedure for adjournment

by Governor of count at the

counting stations

(1) An adjournment of

counting of the votes at counting stations under section 26A (1) of the Ordinance shall be by a notice by the Governor published in the Gazette or if such

publication is not practicable in

the circumstances, by the publication of a notice by him

(substituted notice) by some

other means.

(2) The appointment of a date for the counting of votes

for the purposes of section 26A (2) of the Ordinance shall be made either in the notice or substituted notice adjourning such counting and referred to in subsection (1) or in some other notice by the Governor published

in the Gazette as soon as practicable thereafter, or if such latter notice is not

practicable in the circumstances,

by the publication of a notice by him by some other means.
