I attach a request from Peking for legal advice on two of the speaking notes for Round 9 (16-17 August) and on a LegCo point. The request is explained in paras 3 and 4 of

Nigel Cox's letter to Peter Lai. The two modules in question are also attached. We shall need to reply to Peking in the course of next week.

2. I should be grateful for your advice both on the two speaking notes and on the validity of a legal challenge to LegCo on the grounds that in ignoring the nationality clause the Council would have been unlawfully constituted.
