under the Treaty, which is a joint declaration.
Chairman: That is a very important conclusion on which to end this
hearing. You have been enormously enlightening both on the particular
dispute we are concerned with and the broader issues of individual rights
in Hong Kong which obviously we want to see prosper after the simple
transition for 50 years after 1997. May I thank you indeed on behalf of
