Briefings/Debriefings of MPs

This Office is already in touch with the CPA Office here about their visit report. I am seeing the leader of the delegation, Sir Anthony Durant, on 16 September to discuss the findings of the visit as they relate to Hong Kong. I will let you have his impressions shortly thereafter.

For your information, we briefed Sir Nicholas Bonsor yesterday and will

will be briefing Messrs. Kynoch and Garnier shortly in preparation for their visits in October. We are debriefing Messrs. Luff and Hoyle following their recent visits and will let you have their impressions if there is anything of note.

In this connection, please see item 2(a) in the SOM minutes of 2 September.

Meeting in November between the Governor and the August CPA Delegation
