Forward look at Cabinet and Cabinet Committee business,

October-December 1993

The Cabinet Office have asked that we compile a list of the business likely to come forward from the FCO for Cabinet, Cabinet Ministerial Committees or Ministerial Groups on defence and overseas policy in the period from the beginning of October until the end of the year. This excludes European Community business.

Seen from this perspective, the issues which may come up for collective Ministerial consideration include:

i)

Argentina - conclusion of the fisheries negotiations and a decision on a visit by President Menem.

ii) Gibraltar - regulation of financial services and negotiations under the Brussels process with Spain.
