1 The Employment Committee (Chairman

Mr Greville Janner) will be visiting Taiwan and Japan, 19-25 June. They will be passing through Hong Kong on Saturday 19 June, arriving on flight CX530 at 14.25 and catching a later connection to Taipei. The Committee have asked if it would be possible to see the Governor for an hour, ideally in the VIP Lounge of Hong Kong airport. They have not indicated that they have any particular Hong Kong angle to discuss. We have undertaken to pass on this request without giving any impression that the Governor might agree.
