robberies and smuggling from the mainland. Hong Kong

Government have established extensive cross-border channels

of police communication. Welcome the cooperation of the Chinese Government in posting two Senior Public Security Bureau officers to Hong Kong to assist with anti-crime

liaison.

Overall crime rate in Hong Kong remains remarkably low (compared with many places in the region and with most Western Countries).
