1.

Mr Andrew Wong Ho-Yuen, the Deputy Representative of Hong Kong to the GATT, will complete his tour of duty in January 1994, and will return to Hong Kong.

2.

The officer Hong Kong have in mind to replace Mr Wong is Miss Annie Tang Hoi-Yee (DOB 18.3.60). Miss Tang holds a Bachelor degree in Science (Honours) from the University of Hong Kong and a Master degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She joined the Civil Service on 3.8.82 as an Administrative Officer in the Government Secretariat. She has served in various departments including the then office of the unofficial members of the Executive and Legislative Councils and the City and New Territories Administration.

She was promoted to her present rank of Administrative Officer staff grade C on 1.4.93 and her current posting is in the Trade Department.

Miss Tang is single, and aims to arrive in Geneva in January 1994 to take over from Mr Wong.
