JUDICIAL OFFICERS (TENURE OF OFFICE) BILL: AMENDMENTS TO THE COLONIAL REGULATIONS AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES (COLONIAL REGULATIONS) REGULATIONS

I attach a draft submission to the Secretary of State seeking his approval for the changes to the CRS and DP (CR) RS as a result of the Judicial Officers (Tenure of Office) Bill.

1.

I would be grateful for your comments on the draft submission, although it may obviously have to be amended slightly depending on the outcome of our correspondence with HKG over the wording of the amendments.

2.

I presume that there is no need to submit on these amendments until the amendments to the Letters Patent have been signed by the Queen.
