HONG KONG JUDGES

1.

Please refer to earlier correspondence about the termination of the arrangement which allowed Brunei to enjoy the services of Hong Kong judges.

2.

The Exchange of Notes took place in the Ministry of Law on 29 April 1993 at 10 am. I enclose original copies of these Notes together with a list of those present at the ceremony.

3. Following the Exchange of Notes the High Commissioner presented a copy of the 9th Edition of Oppenheim's International Law to the Minister of Law.

4.

The ceremony was shown on the TV news that evening and reported on the front page of the Borneo Bulletin the following day. It all went off very smoothly.
