I understand that you have been given the task of examining the proposed HMOCS sterling compensation scheme. copy of the draft scheme is attached. Its provisions are, as far as possible, consistent with earlier schemes and also reflect our understanding of what would be acceptable to the Treasury.
2.
I would be grateful for any comments that you may have on the draft. We intend holding further consultations with the HMOCS Association in late January next year, and I hope it will be possible to send them a copy of the scheme by 28 December so that they have adequate time to consider it.
