5. We shall to have to compile a list of past and present HMOCS officers for Hong Kong. We shall certainly dig around up here for lists etc but as the FCO were responsible for admitting these officers to HMOCS in the first place I believe the search should begin in HKD. We must remember that not all officers eligible for membership of HMOCS are eligible for SPOS.
6. Finally the exchange rate provisions of Heads D and H of the Schedule to the Scheme should be amended entirely to use the rate of exchange between the Hong Kong Dollar and Sterling on the officers retirement from other public service. We would
a sterling windfall if the provisions as drafted became law.
