If you felt unable to go the whole hog at this stage it would nevertheless be very useful if you could agree to a halfway house under which the concessions were limited to 1003 only, viz condition. ii in the UI leaflet.

If we had to retin all of the present concessions we should, of course, arepompt to express them in clearer language in our memorandi, but we are not sure that they lend themselves to plain English!

I hope you will be able to agree that these particular provisions have now outlived their usefulness.
