4. I commend the paper to VCDS and consider that it is now ready for presentation to HODS. The staffing timetable remains tight, and it is due to go to the COS by mid-Sep 93. For this reason I would ask that comments from HODS are made by 8 Sep 93. Following any amendments that the HODs may consider necessary, I would hope that the COS will be content to take the paper out of committee.
