RN Communications.
HF support to a Naval Task Group is
to be organized through an Australian Naval agency using signals mess address NAVCAMSAUS CANBERRA ACT AS. Broadcast and MRL facilities will be essential. See RNCP 1 for further details.

Air Management Communications.
a. Details of RAF Air Management communication facilities available are contained in the HQ 38 Group Air Transport and Air to Air Refuelling Manual, Sect 3 (Comms).
b. Existing RAF Flight Watch (FW) communication facilities will be used as available.
Additional en-
route facilities are to be provided by Headquarters Strike Command (HQSTC) as required.
c. All staging posts for RAF aircraft are served by the Overseas Fixed Telecommunications System (OFTS) and/or Societe Internationale Telegraphique Aeronautique (SITA).
d.
Flight Management Communications for RAF aircraft in the Far East are provided by the HKTI HF radio, Hong Kong DRAGON, a civil air/ground net. Strike Command Operations Centre has access to DRAGON via the OFTS.
e.
In the event of non-availability of civil air management facilities in Hong Kong, HQSTC is to hold on call in UK, a Light Radio Detachment (HF) (Lt RD (HF)) UK/TRC 678 to provide a Service-controlled Tactical Air Management facility. Frequencies are to be in accordance with HQSTC Radio Frequency List, Part 2, as instructed by HQSTC.
Internal Communications. All units are to deploy with unit scales of tactical communications equipment.
80. Vehicle Radio Detachments. UKLF will make available Vehicle Radio Detachments (VHF) (VRD (VHF)) as required and under the control of Commander Communications Hong Kong.
