WRITTEN PROHIBITION UNDER SECTION 35(3) OF THE TELEVISION ORDINANCE (CAP 52)

To: TV licensee

Dear Sirs,

In exercise of the power vested in me under Section 35(3) of the Television Ordinance, I hereby prohibit the broadcasting of all news programmes from your station until further notice.

You are required under para 23(2) of the Licence to Broadcast issued under the aforesaid Ordinance to broadcast in place of your news programmes such news programmes and announcements of public interest

as may be supplied by the Government through RTHK.

Kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter by signing and returning the attached copy.
