Repairs requiring bituminous products will be carried out by Direct Labour Force and material will be transported in Government Vehicles.
SPECIAL MEASURES

Emergency vehicles and plant will be fitted with protective window screens by E&MSD.

DEMS will provide assistance in the maintenance and recovery of emergency plant.

As manpower commitments elsewhere may make it impracticable to provide Security Force guards, HyD depots and control centres should be manned only when the situation permits. The appropriate Co-ordinator will be responsible for deciding when depots and control centres should be manned or closed down.
