The Airmail Centre which is the
responsibility of the Post Office will continue to operate during the curfew.
Essential Support for Airport Maintenance
26.
Essential maintenance support to ensure safe and efficient operations of the airport is provided by CESD D&A Division, EMSD, ASD (Property Services), WSD and the utility companies. The Airport Liaison Officer (Senior Property Services Manager/Airport and Subvented Works) will be present at the Airport Management Centre to coordinate with the works departments and utility companies on airport repair and maintenance needs during the curfew.
Airport Fire Contingent
27.
The Airport Contingent of the Fire Services Department will continue to be manned at all times. It may be necessary to adjust shifts if difficulties arise over the provision of reliefs during curfews.
COMMAND AND ADMINISTRATION
Command and Coordination
28.
The operation of the Airport requires the close cooperation of many different organizations. In normal times, the Airport General Manager can usually achieve this without recourse to intervention or compulsion. However, during civil disturbances a more direct form of control will be necessary as decided by DDCA.

The Director of Civil Aviation will continue to operate from his headquarters on the 46th Floor of Queensway Government Offices (unless the situation deteriorates to the extent that he needs to take charge at the Airport in person). However the Deputy
