The Emergency Transport Coordination Centre (ETCC) is an ad hoc committee within the Transport Department set up to plan, monitor and implement traffic and transport arrangements to cope with an emergency which affects the orderly circulation of road traffic and public transport services. When activated, it will comprise the following:

Depending on the nature and scale of an

emergency, the Centre Controller will mobilize the

necessary staff to cope with the situation Adequate supporting and additional staff will also be provided to maintain shift operations if necessary.

The Emergency Transport Coordination Centre (ETCC), when activated, is set up in the Transport Department Headquarters, Wanchai Tower II, 41/F, 7 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong; or Transport Department Kowloon and NT Regional Office, 8/F, Mongkok Government Offices, 30 Luen Wan Road, Kowloon.
