There are 75 Teams (Ambulance Depot Teams and Auxiliary Nurse Teams) dispersed throughout Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories and off-shore

islands.

STORES AND EQUIPMENT

Operational Stores

10.

AMS Operational stores are distributed throughout the urban and rural areas of Hong Kong. There are three bulk stores located at Wong Chuk Hang Road (Aberdeen), Sassoon Road (Pokfulam), and Princess Margaret Road (Homantin). Store items are sufficient to equip several AMS Dressing Stations, Casualty Hospitals, Convalescent Units as well as Ambulance Depots.

First Aid and Medical Supplies

AMS Stores hold large quantities of first aid supplies varying from bandages and dressings to mechanical resuscitation apparatus. The AMS is also expected to provide medical stores as required.
