Transportation of aviation fuels from the

oil companies terminals to Kai Tak will be made by normal routes if possible. Alternatives will be arranged by the Oil Supplies Unit as the situation dictates.

Oil Companies Tank Farm Operations at Kai Tak

The tankage capacity at Kai Tak is 27,730

kilolitres.

17.

As long as it is possible to continue into-plane services on a normal commercial basis, each oil company will fulfil its usual commercial responsibilites. Should this become impossible, the Shell Company will assume responsibility for co-ordinating all into-plane filling services.

automotive fuels will be carried out on a normal commercial basis as long as it is possible to do so. If the day-to-day system breaks down the Oil Supplies Unit will implement an alternative.

Build-up of Stocks for Government and Security Forces

During emergencies which involve curfews of short duration, permitting time and opportunity for normal commercial distribution, the oil companies holding the Military and Government contracts for the supply of automotive fuels will be responsible for keeping all Military and Government storage tanks and dispensing pump

installations fully stocked as their

first priority.
