9. Arrangements could also be made if it seemed advantageous to station repair teams at the following locations:
(a) SNG Plant, Tuen Mun
(b) Tai Po Gas Works.

Repair units will be under the immediate control of the Company in the normal way. Should public safety demand it, assistance in the form of labour might be obtained upon application to the GSECC. This supply of labour would depend upon CED and TDD commitments at the time.
Fault Information

Most major faults in the transmission and distribution system are normally reported by the public and the authorities. However, most faults on the high pressure system would be recognised by the telemetry equipment linking up the strategic points.

One informed and determined person would have the ability to damage production plant causing a complete shut-down over a prolonged period. Most minor damage to the distribution system should be repairable within a matter of hours but, due to its high operating pressure, damage to the transmission system could result in a very serious hazard to the public.
