For officers at D4 and above, the figures represent the number of days of leave within a year. For officers at D3 and below, the figures represent the number of days of leave earned outside a year. Overseas officers below MPS 45 who are aged 40 or above, or who are aged 35-39 and have 10 or more years of service, enjoy higher leave earning rates, as shown within brackets. For officers at MPS 34 and above, the figures represent the number of days of leave within a year. For officers at MPS 33 and below, the figures represent the number of days of leave outside a year but part of the leave must be taken at the end of a period of 2 1/2 years.
