I was told that the supervising court (the High Court) was looking closely at the claimed facts in support of the case for asylum of Mr LE TU Phương and Madam DINH Thị Bích Chính in its

process of Mr K.N. Ng of the examination of the decision making Immigration Department and of a Refugee Status Review Board chaired

by Mr. Y.H.Ho.

I was told that while new evidence of fact would not influence the court's examination of the applicants' attacks upon the decision making process, it could be extremely useful in other ways. While proceedings for judicial review are underway, response of the Administration to those proceedings could be materially influenced by evidence tending to support the claims of the applicants.
