The Staff Side of SCSC approached the Leg Co Panel on Public Service to enlist support
support for its requests for the formation a joint working group
to monitor the progress of the proposed pension reserve fund and the setting aside of $5 billion in the 1993/94 budget for the fund.
The issue of localisation continues to attract criticism from the Association of Expatriate Civil Servants (AECS). A recent survey conducted by the AECS among its members indicates that about 60% of the respondents would be willing to transfer to local pensionable terms if they were given such an option, and that a similar percentage
