PRELIMINARY SKETCH PLANS (PSPs)

PSP drawings HKBC - SK04/001 to 01 (September 1992) were presented to the Hong Kong Co-ordinating Committee in Hong Kong - 12 to 14 October 1992. In general the PSPs were acceptable subject to the proposed changes below.

A VIP waiting area is required (new proposal): enclosed space within the existing main reception/waiting area (G4) will be adequate.

An Executive dining room (new proposal): location in space marked "exhibition area" in British Council wing is acceptable extra ventilation may

be necessary.

The small "store", adjacent to car park no. 44, should accommodate F14 (drivers) who do not appear to be provided for elsewhere. Access to room/store should be direct from the car parking

area.

The large store, adjacent to car park no. 45, should be designated "13" and should have double doors into the car parking area.

Level Three (HKBC SK 04/004):

The Visa Registry and Archives (L35 and L36) should be located on this level: to achieve this there is no objection to relocating all of functions L27 to L31 or only some of them depending on what is possible.
