STEERING COMMITTEE (WORKING GROUP)

1.

On 5 February OED invited 6 architectural practices to

submit schemes for the new Consulate General. The

submissions were received by Swires in Hong Kong on 10 April and by OED in Croydon on 13 April. Since then consultations

have been taking place between the interested parties.

2. A meeting of the working group has been scheduled for 1130 hours on Tuesday 9 June in the Locarno Conference Room. At this meeting Mr Bertram will report on the architectural submissions received. There will then be a discussion on a

recommendation to be put to Ministers.

3. Grateful for confirmation that you will be able to attend, or send a representative.
