proposed PRIVATE TREATY GRANT OF THE COLVIN HOUSE SITE FOR THE FUTURE BRITISH CONSULATE-GENERAL
1. Further to my letter to you of 13 February I have now been instructed by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London to state that Her Majesty's Government accept the terms set out in your letter (77) in DLO/HW 110/NHPT/82 of 31 January 1992.
2. Her Majesty's Government note the statement in the penultimate paragraph of your letter [of 31 January 1992] that it is not the intention of the Hong Kong Government to create any legal ́obligations for the British Trade Commission, or for the British Government, unless or until the legal documents necessary to give legal effect to the proposed treaty grant are executed and registered.
