Cover up in Osman case.

In my previous correspondence on this issue I have tried to warn you that, to the layman, this case has alarming
characteristics.
The prosecutor is in jail, the principal witness is discredited and in breach of his immunities, and 65% of the key evidence is allegedly lost by the complainant.
Your own press spokesman, and I quote, say that the right place to raise the issues I raise, is in the courts.
On Monday Mr. Osman's lawyers tried to do just that, relying documents that they had found themselves. The Crown was asked to produce various documents, which, from the documents produced by Mr. Osman's lawyers, were clearly material evidence.
I recall for you that Mr.Osman's lawyers, from the documents in their possession, showed, at least to the common layman, that the Hong Kong authorities had engaged in a cover up, had bent the law, and had brought charges against Mr. Osman, that they knew were false.
The Crowns answer was to seek immunity and suppression of every document and record in its possession that in any way related to the material produced by Mr.Osman's lawyers. Every minute, cable and reference were denied to Mr. Osman's lawyers, as they have been denied for the past six years.
I ask you now to meet the commitment to open justice just made by the incoming Lord Chief Justice, and ask you to ask the Home Secretary to exercise his powers, to either disclose the evidence against Mr.Osman, or to free him immediately. I enclose the material introduced by Mr.Osmans lawyers, the authenticity of which is not contested by any facts from the Crown in court.
