As in the fourth habeas corpus application, Mr Osman applied for discovery of numerous documents held by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The seventh application was rejected on 28 February. The Court again rejected the application for the discovery of documents.

Mr Osman has petitioned for leave to appeal to the House of Lords against the judgement in each of the first six habeas corpus applications. His petitions have all been refused. In the case of the seventh application, the question of appeal has still to be decided.

Mr Osman has also made two applications against the United Kingdom to the European Commission of Human Rights. Both were deemed inadmissable, the first in March 1989 and the second in January

1991.
