1. I have seen Mr Berman's minute of 5 February suggesting that you refer to the DPP the release of certain classified FCO papers.

2. Security Department has some experience of referring cases involving possible breaches of the Official Secrets Act to the DPP. If it is decided we should go down that route in this instance, we shall be glad to become involved if you thought that would be helpful.
