DSC - Second batch of officers in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force interviewed and revised profile (Paper No. SC 30/92)

Members noted the results of personality checks and verification interviews on the second batch of 486 potentially successful applicants in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force and the change in the profile of applicants in the queue. They advised that -

the applications of these 486 principal applicants and their dependants should be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens, subject to confirmation with them that there was no change in their circumstances; and

personality checks and a verification interview should be carried out for the applicant in ranking position 1,346 in the revised profile, whose adjusted score was sufficiently high to bring him within the relevant quota.
