Applicants in the Sensitive Service Class Ready for the Governor's Recommendation

Purpose

This paper informs members of the 19th batch of Sensitive Service Class (SSC) applications which, subject to confirmation of no further changes in the applicants' circumstances, will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.

Advice sought

Members are invited to note the composition of the 19th batch of qualified SSC applications, the running total and the quota for each category in the first phase of the scheme, as set out in paragraph 3.

Breakdown by category

SSC applications are processed in the sequence in which they are received. The composition-of the 19th batch of SSC applicants already assessed to be qualified, the running total and the quota for various categories in the first phase of the scheme are as follows-
