Applicants in the General Occupational Class Ready for the Governor's Recommendation

Purpose

This paper informs members of the results of personality checks and verification interviews on 944 potentially successful applicants in 14 occupational groups in the General Occupational Class (GOC). Subject to members' agreement and confirmation with the applicants that there is no change in their circumstances, these 944 cases will be submitted to the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State for registration as British citizens under the British Nationality (Hong Kong) Act 1990.
