In the revised profile of applicants in AO1, the applicant in position 139 is brought within the quota after he has switched from OG3, Business and Administration Associate Professionals.

The applicant is a Senior Clerk of a bank. He originally applied under OG3. The Occupations Panel subsequently advised that his working experience as a Senior Clerk is not relevant to OG3. However, his previous working experience as a Computer Operator from March 1982 to October 1989 is relevant to AO1. In line with established practice, he was allowed to select another OG/AO. The applicant subsequently re-selected AO 1. He scores 352 points which ranks him 139 in the queue of AO 1 against a quota of 150. He is potentially successful.
